St-Thomas is the largest of the US Virgin Island and has an original flavor: its Danish past. Host one the world's most beautiful beaches (Magens Bay). The island of St-John, whose 2/3 is a National Park donated by Laurence Rockefeller, is only a short boat ride away (ideal for day-trip excursion).

Not to be missed: Magens Bay, Drake's Seat (for a beautiful panorama of the island), Fort Christian (where the Museum of the US Virgin Island is located, Bluebeard's Tower, Government House,

Ups: The capital, Charlotte Amalie, is very charming and has some beautiful buildings, beautiful beaches, the island is VERY green, one of the most developed island of the Caribbean), good shopping.

Downs:Very touristy (just hope you're on the only ship in town, but that's not likely), heavily build-up, one of the most developed island of the Caribbean.
